Reach Up-and-Over with New VM Series Work Platforms
 
 
 

The new Grove Manlift VM Series work platforms feature vertical masts similar to the ones founf on fork lifts combines with an articulating arm for up-and-over reach capabilities.

Compact dimensions, limited tailswing and pivotal-type steering that results in zero turning radius make these unique electric-powered units ideal for use in confined areas such as industrial rack aisles and warehouse storage areas.
 

Elevation System

All-steel fork truck mast type with articulating jib.

Platform

All welded aluminium work platform with sliding bar gate. Standard 110-V AC wiring with GFI (ground fault interrupter) and control foot pedal.
 

Power Plant

4 HP electric motor powered by 448 amp/hour and 570 amp/hour traction batteries.  2-section positive displacement gear pump.

Platform Controls

Full pressure hydraulic controls with multi-axis joysticks for drive/steer, mast lift/swing, and jib lift.
 

Drive/Steer

Hydraulic drive motors mounted on the front wheels. 90 degrees pivotal steering on the front wheels.

 
90 degrees pivotal steering allows the VM series to turn within
their own length for a zero inside turnng radius.
 
 
The platform-mounted control box includes easy to operate full pressure hydraulic controls, a battery indicator and bourmeter.  110-V AC power to the platoform is standard along with a control foot pedal.  Lower controls are conveniently located on the side of the machine.
Overall width is just 39 in and 48 in.  Instowed positions, the overall height is just 6 ft 7 in, alowing them to easily fit through standard double doorways.
