Dirk Denoyelle is one of Flanders' (*) best known and most succesful comedians. He managed to transfer the discipline of voice imitation to the level of art. Because he does not stick to just imitating the voices of over 150 people. He uses these voices to ventilate his own - funny - view on society, modern life, politics, showbizz ... you name it. And the theatre programmes are not just a stand up comedian like review of sketches. There is a plot, there are musicians, puppets, etc ...

Up until now, Dirk was mainly active in Flanders. Because the people he imitated were Flemish, and mostly because his texts and songs dealt with Flemish - and Belgian - situations. But he is working hard on a new theatre programme, which should be ready by 2001. From then on, he will be able to tackle the whole of Europe.
