GOSSIP

I have no respect for justice
I maim without killing.
I break hearts and ruin lives.
I am cruel and malicious
and gather strength with age.

The more I am quoted
the more I am believed.
I flourish at every level of society.
My victims are helpless.
They cannot protect themselves against me.
I have no name and no face.

To track me down is impossible,
The harder you try
the more elusive I become.
I'm nobody's friend.

Once I tarnish a reputation
it is never the same.
I topple governments
and ruin marriages.
I ruin careers and cause sleepless nights,
heartache, and indigestion.
I spawn suspicion
and generate grief.
I make innocent people
cry in their pillows.
Even my name hisses

I AM CALLED GOSSIP

Gossip inflicts a cruel wound!!

�Perhaps you have been hurt by the unkind or cruel things people have said about you to others.  You are not alone my friend.  � Don't allow the words of others to control your life, or cause you to become unforgiving or bitter.   No one should be allowed to have that kind of power in shaping what kind of person you will allow yourself to be.
� � Instead, consider the source of the gossip.�   Is there any validity to the things that are being said?  � If there is- then change your life.  � That much is up to you.
� � If however the words and criticisms carry no merit then cast them by the wayside.   Does the opinion of someone who would talk about you behind your back really matter?�   Can such a person really be called a friend?
� � Usually people gossip because they are jealous of you.   So the next time someone begins to spread lies, remember........you are doing something that is being noticed.

Consider it a compliment and keep on keeping on.

When lies and rumors spread and seek
To hurt and injure you,
Don't fret and worry-Trust the Lord
Because He knows what is true.

NEVER FORGET
That he who gossips to you about others
will also gossip to others about you!!!

Remember.... When you are kicked from behind it means you are out in front!
