When things are tough and life hands us a curve ball, sometimes it is very hard to believe that anything good can come out of the situation.  So often in my own life I have not recognized the possibility of things turning out for the best, until I have been given hindsight.  Injustices that I have suffered, terrible losses, and indescribable pain have somehow all been used by God to strengthen my character in a way that would not have been possible without them.  Had it not been for those situations and what they had done within me, I would not have been able to face things that came subsequently.  Nor would I have been able to show compassion to people whose lives were touched by tragedy or abuse.

Unfortunately, only God has the ability to see the beginning from the end, and we must walk through difficult days blindly trusting in Him, and believing that His grace alone will carry us.

God is faithful.   His Word says that "He will cause all things to work together for the good of those who love Him."   And again it says He will not allow us to carry more than we can bear.

Those promises cannot be held by those who do not love and worship Him, but rather are something that He gives His children.

God never promised any of us an easy life. But He did promise to be there when we were to weary to walk, and all we have to do is call His Name. By knowing Him, and serving Him we are guaranteed that no matter what hardship comes our way, God is in charge of the circumstances. 

All things do indeed work for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose

And He will exchange ashes for beauty........you can bank on it!.
