" The aborigines (sic) of Australia had been there long, long before the first tall ships voyaged from the other side of the world, crewed by white men. On the whole, the newcomers and the natives had got on all right. It was a big land after all.

But then came another invasion, and this time it was a Jap raiding force - their aim to kill and conquer. They hadn't taken the local aborigines into account, though.

What damage could a few savages armed with spears and boomerangs do? Quite a lot when they get annoyed!".
