Mirror Shield:
[The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past]
-The Mirror Shield in ALttP was found in Level 8: Turtle Rock. It
deflected most attacks and was stonger than the Fighter's Shield and Red Shield.
[The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening]
-In Level 7: Eagle's Tower, Link received the Mirror Shield, or
Level-2 Shield, to use to withstand the attacks of the Evil Eagle.
[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time]
-The Mirror Shield in OoT was found in the Spirit Temple. In order
to find this treasure, Link had to go back in time to get the Silver Gaunt-
lets as a child, then return as an Adult to find it. The Mirror Shield was
Link's only defense, and weapon, against Ganondorf's surrogate mother(s),
Twinrova.
The Shield originally carried the Gerudo symbol seen on this version,
but this was removed in Nintendo's re-release on Gamecube (The Legend
of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest) due to what it was/resembled.
It was replaced with the image found on Veran and General Onoxo from the
Zelda Oracle games.
[The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask]
-Link finds the Mirror Shield hidden deep within the well of Ikana
Canyon after persuading a few Gibdo into letting him by. This was used
as a source of reflecting light until Link gained the Light Arrows.
[The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Oracle of Seasons]
-The Mirror Shield in OoA and OoS was merely an upgraded version of Link's
Iron Shield (and actually a secret only obtainable through playing both games).
The Mirror Shield was given to Link through password systems. Link can get it from
a Master Librarian in the Past Library in Ages(after learning a password from
a Ghini in Holodrum) or from Subrosian Smithy in Seasons(after learning a password
from a Subrosian in Rolling Ridge in Labrynna) or from Farore in the Maku Tree
(through other passwords). The shield allows you to avoid most damage and deflect
most projectiles.
[The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker]
-The Mirror Shield is found in the Earth Temple with the help of Medli.
Using this, combined with the Command Melody and Medli's Harp, Link could
over come any obstacle in the dark. This item was useful against Dark ChuChu,
Poes and Jalhalla...but only if there is light to shine on the situation.
