Devotion is a word this use to describe one’s loyalty to something or someone. As believers of Jesus Christ we must be devoted to Him. We must surrender our life, will, and our feelings. A lot of times we ask the question why. But in our devotion to GOD we must trust his judgments. We must realize that all thing work together for the good. We must spend quality time with Him. We must constantly tell and show GOD that we love Him. We must spend time daily reading and studying his Word. Prayer is important too because that’s how we talk to Him and He talks right back. It’s important to have some kind of daily devotional to GOD. Get in the habit of having a communicating with GOD. Start by telling Him that you love Him, you worship Him, and you praise Him. Them ask Him to forgive you of all your sins. Repent daily and really mean it in your heart. Ask GOD to show you yourself and mean it. Ask him to take away anything that is not like Him. Continue to praise and magnify Him. Ask Him for direction everyday. Ask Him to hide His Word in our heart that we not sin against Him. Tell Him that we want to please Him. We don’t want to take Him for granted. Help us to be sensitive to His feelings.
