Hold Infirmary and Healer Hall
   With a faint smell of redwort, the room is astonishingly clean, even for an infirmary. Recently made tapestries cover the outer wall of the cavern, protecting the patients from the weather outside. Shelves line two of the walls, with healing supplies neatly placed on the labeled slots. Cabinets are above them, where herbs and medicines are stored, a few with locks that only masters have access to. Cots line the remaining wall, with sheets that can be pulled around the bed for privacy or surgery. Glows are fastened everywhere, giving this room an intense brightness.

Brevelan walks in from Healer Passage

Kryss smiles at Brev "Hello, what can I do for you today?"

Brevelan glances about the room, and smiles. "Hey. I'm in need of a physical, so I was told in my first briefing. You think you could give me one?"

Kryss smiles sweetly "That I can do" she replies as she opens a curtain around an empty cot after thoroughly washing her hands in redwort. "Okay first things first do you have any recent illnesses or injuries?"

Brevelan chuckles, and shakes her head. "No injuries, except maybe to my pride in a particularly embarrassing experience on a dance floor. " There she goes, extolling the events of her life to an almost total stranger. "Illness, well, I had a cold a month ago, but otherwise I'm clean in that department."

Kryss chuckles softly and nods "Are you still experiencing any symptoms of a cold?"

Brevelan shakes her head. "No....they faded away down to the last cough near two days after I first started suffering beyond a stuffy nose."

Kryss nods softly as she grabs up a fluffy white towel "Okay then if you would please step behind this curtain and disrobe we'll get going" she says as she hands the towel to Brev.

Brevelan nods, and disappears behind the curtain, returning a few rustles of the curtain and a few minutes later with her clothes absent, and the towel wrapped about her.

Kryss smiles at Brev "Now if you'll please take a seat on the cot here and loosen the towel around your chest please"

Brevelan follows suit, plopping down on the cot, with her blunt kind of grace, and loosens the towel.

Kryss smiles at Brev "Well first off I'm gonna take a listen to your heart" she explains softly as she puts the listening tube to Brev's chest.

Kryss places a warmed a Listening Tube up to Brevelan's chest.

Kryss smiles softly "Well that certainly sounds good, a nice steady beat no murmurs at all" she moves the listening tube up a bit to the esophagus "Now I'm going to listen for a clear steady flow of air and no funny noises. So just breathe normally for now."

Brevelan nods, doing as told, breathing normally.

Kryss smiles at Brev "Well that sounded great no whistling or anything. Now I'm going to listen to your lungs" she remarks as she moves the listening tube down to the diaphragm. "Okay take in a deep breath and hold it for me."

Brevelan gives a mischievous grin....... and nods, breathing deep in an embellished way, and holding it, making a comical fish-face like impression.

Kryss smiles at Brev "Now let it out slowly" she says as she listens carefully

Brevelan nods, and stops the fish-act, slowly but surely letting out her breath.

Kryss grins as she straightens up "Well that sounded wonderful, no clicks or rubbing present" she notes as she grabs up a glow tube.

Sarala opens one eye, peeks around, then sits up, wide-eyed and grinning.

Brevelan smiles. "That's good, right?"

Kryss smiles at Brev "Yep that is good. Now I'm going to look in your eyes, for any signs of redness, foreign objects or swelling"

Brevelan nods, and, being an intuitive kind of person, braces herself not to blink.

Kryss shines the light into her eyes as she peers at them carefully "Very good, all nice and clear. Now I'm going to turn your head slightly as I check your ears as well"

Brevelan nods. "Go ahead then."

Kryss smiles as she proceeds to check each ear carefully and nodding as she finds nothing wrong with them "Very good now I'm going to check your nose and throat. You haven't eaten any whitebulb or anything really recently" she asks with a grin.

Brevelan shakes her head. "No.......I've not touched anything besides some klah an hour ago since breakfast."

Kryss grins and nods "all right" she says as she peers up each nostril "Now open your mouth and say ahhh"

Brevelan grins, and opens wide, "Aahhhh"

Kryss shines the tube into her mouth and then lightly sniffs her breath. "Well nothing wrong there a nice healthy pink and no bad odor," she sets the glow tube down and picks up a mallet and taps it in the air with a grin. "Okay, now to test your reflexes"

Brevelan grins. "Just don't hit harder then you would hit yourself. "

Kryss grins "Now would I do something like that?" she asks ever so sweetly as she taps Brev lightly just below the kneecap.

Brevelan's leg kicks, just like it's supposed to. :)

Kryss grins and proceeds to tap the other leg, always making sure to be out of range.

Brevelan's other leg does what it's companion did. Kicks.

Kryss grins as she sets the mallet down "No if you will just lay back on the cot and uncover your stomach, I'll check for any hernia's"

Brevelan lays down, pulling the towel back above her stomach.

Kryss nods softly as she feels around the abdomen gently but firmly. "Just perfect, now go ahead and get up and you can get dressed"

Brevelan stands, and disappears behind the curtain, soon appearing with her clothes on, and the towel in one hand. "You want this back?"

Kryss nods "Yes it'll be washed and used for whoever needs it next."

Brevelan nods, and tosses it to Kryss. "There you go. I can go now?"

Kryss shakes her and grins at Brev "Now is there any chance whatsoever that you may be pregnant?"

Brevelan ohs....questions now. "No," she says firmly. "None at all."

Kryss nods as she walks over to the cabinet and grabs a vial out. "All right I want you to drink this. Just toss it down quickly before you have a chance to taste it" she says with a grin as she hands it to Brev.

Brevelan eyes the vial, but doesn't hesitate. Medicine is her bane, and she's learned how to take it with minimum taste effect.

Kryss smiles "Now that was pergin berries a contraceptive which all appies have to take. Vile tasting but effective"

Brevelan nods. "Got it."

Kryss smiles at Brev "Well all done now, just come back for a physical every six months"

Brevelan nods. "Okay. I'll be going now, then. And thanks!"
