Mist

Midnight mist lays vast and deep,
Across the water like a blanket's keep.
Shadows loom around her edge,
In the moon lights glow above our heads.
Stands of aspens tall and dense, guard
Her waters as sentries at her gate.
Whispering winds caress your face,
While gentle fingers
search and trace.
Shadows form from all around,
Drawing us near, forever we're bound.

Creatures all both great and small,

Watch this mystic scene with awe.

Silence stands around us both,

No words are needed, none are spoke.
Stars do glitter way on high, like the
Locking eyes of you and I.

Feelings shared at midnight hour,
Love is given and times devoured.
Hearts were exchanged and held so dear,

God has blessed our moment here.
