Put your dancin shoes on kids, and stroll back in time.

     Touch of the Past

Sing to me those songs of old,
The ones that touch the heart and soul.

The ones that told of simple days,

Simple times, simple ways.

Drive-in movies, rock and roll,
Dancing at the hop and doing the stroll.

Black leather jackets and rolled blue jeans,
Guys with cigarettes rolled up in their sleeves.

The girls are wearing pony tails and poodle skirts,
And their sweaters are worn so tight.

The queens and kings are chosen at the prom that night.

Guys ask the girls out on dates and innocents are

Lost out on lovers lane.
Sitting in the soda shop, sipping on a straw,

Listening to the juke box play,

"Rock Around the Clock".
When its finally over and everyone

Is calm, then I'll put a nickel in
And rock the shop again.

Take me back to those days of old,

For those were the days of solid gold,
So sing to me those songs of old,

The ones that touch the heart and soul.

The ones that told of simple days,
Simple times and simple ways.
