All my life i've searched for someone
Just like you.. Someone to care for,
Someone to share with, someone to
Say I love you to... Alas just out of my grasp, tho I
Thought you were with in reach..
To pull my hand back and see what
My fingers were not allowed to touch.
Only thoughts were given to me,
With each passing day I did shrink.
Hopes and dreams were shattered
For you were never within reach.
Pictures in my mind of loving you
Pictures fading with the age of times,
Watching the color's fade to black And white.
Wishing if only it was.
Wishing upon a star in the night,
Wishing daylight would never come.
Wishing if only you were here be me
Wishing is wishing, knowing is life,
Meant to be with out you in sight.
Some day there will be a time
When I can say that you are mine.
Some day i'll see, i'll touch, i'll feel,
What i've longed for, for so many A long years.
Be it this life or maybe the next,
I pray my heart will out last this test.
Prayers of you are all I have and,
For now that'll just have to do...
