ID Info - NCIC #M-078309557. As of November 24, 1997, Sabrina is a white female,
2'6" tall, weighs 20 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes. She was wearing
a lavender one piece sleeper with a floral pattern and has a blue and yellow handmade
blanket (shown below). Since Sabrina would be approximately 9 months old now,
it is normal that her features could have changed by now. An infants eye color
could change from blue to blue, green or even brown eyes. Sabrina looked a lot
like her sister, Monica. Monica's eyes went from blue to brown between 8-10 months.
Sabrina's hair was dark at 5 months old. Monica's hair turned lighter between
9-10 months.
Identifying birthmarks: Sabrina has dots shaped like a "Y" below her
right shoulder.
Sabrina's Story!
A baby's mother issues a public plea for the safe return of her daughter. Deputies
say they have a couple of leads.
Police dogs searched the neighborhood and nearby woods. Helicopters hovered overhead.
But by the end of the day Monday, 5-month-old Sabrina remained missing without
a trace from her quiet suburban home.
Late Monday, the child's mother, Marlene Aisenberg, issued a public plea for the
safe return of her daughter, and Hillsborough County Florida sheriff's deputies
said they were following a couple of leads in the case that is being treated as
a kidnapping.
Deputies are releasing few details. What they are saying is that sometime between
midnight and 6:42 a.m. Monday, Sabrina Paige Aisenberg and her yellow baby blanket
were taken from her crib.
Marlene Aisenberg checked on the baby at midnight and she was fine, said sheriff's
spokesman. When Marlene Aisenberg got up in the morning to get her other two
children ready, she found her baby missing. Whoever took the child didn't leave
a note. Authorities wouldn't say if there were signs of forced entry.
Marlene Aisenberg and her husband, Steve, were routinely questioned by investigators
Monday, authorities said. Family vehicles were taken in for inspection.
The couple are the child's biological parents, authorities said, adding there
are no known custody disputes. The missing child's maternal grandfather has offered
a $5,000 reward for information leading to the Sabrina's safe return. On March
31, 1998, Steve Aisenberg told Good Morning, America there is a $75,000 award
now being offered from several organizations on the community..
People living around the cul-de-sac near the Aisenbergs' home said they never
witnessed any problems with the family. They spoke highly of the couple from Maryland,
neighbors said.
Marlene Aisenberg runs a play program for children, from her home, and her husband
is a licensed real estate agent, according to neighbors and records.
Next-door a neighbor said her dogs never bark, but they woke up her husband between
3 and 4 a.m. He looked outside but didn't see anything unusual, she said.
An upset Marlene Aisenberg came to her door around 7 a.m., a spokesperson said.
``The first thing out of her mouth was, `My baby's gone,' '' she said. ``Somebody
came in and got Sabrina.''
Neighbors reported the Aisenberg dog, was inside the house Sunday night but had
been found outside that morning.
The child's paternal grandfather in Maryland, Irwin Aisenberg, said Monday evening
that his daughter-in-law is beset with grief.
``She is taking it very hard,'' he said. ``How does a parent take something like
a missing child? It's the only thing they can think about.''
Family members believe that whoever snatched Sabrina was acquainted with the household,
he said, at least ``somebody who was familiar with the house.''
Authorities are asking for the public's help in solving the case. Baby Sabrina
was last seen wearing a lavender, one-piece outfit with a floral pattern.
Anyone with information should call (813) 247-8685.
December 8, 1997
Sheriff's office divers from Hillsborough, Manatee and Pinellas counties, along
with divers from the Tampa Police Department, continued Sunday to search a pond
behind the Aisenberg house.
Sabrina was discovered missing two weeks ago. Authorities say the infant was snatched
from her crib in the middle of the night. More than 200 leads have come in, especially
after the family took its plea to a national audience.
Last week, family members appeared on CNN's ``Larry King Live'' and NBC's ``Dateline.''
Saturday night, the disappearance of Sabrina was featured on Fox's ``America's
Most Wanted.''
Deputies said they received 80 leads Saturday night, most of which came from out-of-state.
Most were not substantial, a department spokeswoman said, but a couple were given
to detectives.
December 22, 1997
Marlene Aisenberg heaved sobs of grief and frustration over the baby girl she
hasn't held in nearly a month. A candlelight prayer vigil organized by friends
Monday night provided a glimpse into the pain caused by the month long disappearance
of baby Sabrina Aisenberg. Steven Aisenberg held his wife closely, whispering
quietly into her ear as she choked back tears. Friends and family clutched their
own children closely and offered prayers of hope and reunification while crying
with them. Afterward, Marlene Aisenberg promised a public statement will come
this morning. ``We want to talk to the person who has Sabrina,'' she said.
December 23, 1997
Marlene and Steven Aisenberg gave a press conference to talk to the person who
has Sabrina. Marlene Aisenberg appears shaken during a news conference Tuesday
as her husband Steve describes the family's pain. While her husband pleaded for
their baby's return, Marlene Aisenberg closed her eyes and stroked her daughter's
picture over and over. She appeared shaken during a news conference Tuesday as
her husband Steve described the family's pain.
``Your actions have not only affected our children and our family, but they've
affected our friends, neighbors and community,'' he said in the couple's lawyer's
office, hoping to reach the heart of a kidnapper. ``We understand and hope at
this time of miracles that you grant us our wish to bring Sabrina home. We hope
you will look inside yourself and find the strength to do this.'' ``Please don't
destroy our family,'' his wife begged. ``We just want you to do the right thing.
Look inside yourself.''
The parents said they would help whoever took their baby get an attorney and ask
for leniency if the abductor would return the child safely.
Marlene Aisenberg said her baby was fine around midnight but was missing around
6:30 a.m. on Nov. 24. The parents said someone came into their home and took their
child, who turns 6 months old Saturday. There was no sign of forced entry and
the family dog didn't bark that night, authorities said.
The photographs below are of Monica, the 4 year old sister of Sabrina. Sabrina
looked very much like these photographs. I have listed them in different age
groups. Sabrina could look like these photographs!

Monica (12 months) - Monica (18 months) - Monica (19 months)
If Sabrina Paige Aisenberg Were Your Child!
Ma's
Place, from Turkey, has put together a powerful site to let you know how it must
feel if you were Sabrina's parents. It is my prayer that the kidnapper will read
this and will bring Sabrina back home to where she has familiar surroundings and
loving parents waiting for her.
