The La Mancha is a breed developed recently in this country from a short eared spanish breed crossed with the leading purebred breeds. They may be any color but are distinguished by their external ears which are either absent or very short. The Saanen is a white or slightly cream colored goat of Swiss origin. They are medium to large in size with ruged bone and plenty of vigor. The ears are upright and the preferred color is white.
