William Noah Morrow emmigrated from Ireland in 1838. He came to either New York or Phillidelphia. He was an educated man, and also a talented singer. He was asked to sing in several Lutheran churches in New York city. He moved on to Ohio around 1840. He soon met Jemima Taylor. She was the daughter of Joseph Taylor, who didn't like his daughter being courted by a poor immigrant. When he married her three years later, her father disowned her. He was a carpenter, and a shoemaker.
Jemima was disowned my her father when she married William Noah. I have only been able to find records of her brother, Lyman. My great aunt must have had more, but it was lost when she died. Since then I have found a few more.
