Opaque black bear paw prints on a translucent green background. I began this project on May 11, 1999. This is my first attempt at drop 2 peyote stich. This project was complete in less than a week, framed and given to Paul and Charlotte as a gift. It currently resides in one of their cabins in Idaho, so I will have to wait for a picture till we go back up there. Sorry.
Click on the image to see an inlarged view and additional pictures. I used the netting stich (and some peyote) for the bottles and used different Christmas colored seed beeds. I started these bottles around the first of October and completed the last one November 11, 1999.
These bottles were created for a special group of people at 3Com - SLC RMA Administration - my friends. I made the bottles as a going away/Christmas gift during their last month with the company. I hope they enjoy having them as much as I enjoyed creating them! (There are more pictures. I will post them soon.)
