Writers note: This poem is written about FF VII, a video game I really love. It's not about the whole game in it's self, but one part in particular that I thought was really sad; the part where Aeris dies, and people who have played FF VII I'm sure wil agree that it was really sad. Though it was written about my video game I believe it has a deeper meaning as I would like to think most of my poems do. If you have read any of the other notes on my poems you will probably notice I don't insist on calling them writtings anymore. What can I say things change.  Please enjoy my poem even out of the darkness that I write it.

Serenity's Flower
The Strength of Soldier,
Meets the delicacy of a flower.
From the very first moment,
Up until the last.
Two hearts searching,
Searching for the answer;
Though it was there all along.

They journeyed far together as one,
With so little known and,
And yet so little asked.
There secrets locked away and pasts untold.
With all the right times,
With all the wrong words.
Fate had brought them together,
As fate would tear them apart.

Silent & Gentle,
So Fragile, yet strong.
She prayed for the planet,
As somehow she knew,
That the end would be nigh.

The sword slashed through,
By the hands of evil,
And a stroke of death.
The white materia fell,
To where it could rest.
As tears of sorrow,
Cried out in hate.
The foe would flee,
As despair would over come.

In the calm of grief,
She was laid down to rest.
By the ebb of the deep,
Her soul would be free,
For now and for always.

A bud that began,
And the flower that bloomed,
The heartache must end sometime,
But never be forgotten.
And as time flows on,
Let her prayer never perish,
And her flower bring peace.
