Here We Are
My parents were very much in tune to providing shelter, food, clothing, and supervision. They made sure we were safe. I really never thought about them not being with me forever and always.
My father died in 1994, and my world began to fall in. He was all a girl could hope for in a father for me. Not perfect, just my daddy. It has been hard not having him around anymore. But Moma has been really great! And I love her more than ever.
I have five brothers and one sister. Warren, Kenneth, and Candi are the ones I know best. Warren just recently got married again. Edna, his wife, is a very nice woman. They seem very happy together. Kenneth, is currently single and hoping to get together with the right lady! He is a police officer and hopes to retire next July. His retirement party is scheduled for March 11, 1999. Candi, is the youngest and the mother of two very active girls. She is expecting her third child in November, 1998.
Samuel-Joseph arrived November 10th.
I just had extensive foot surgery. I'm learning to use a wheelchair and crutches. Let's say I prefer the wheelchair.

I have some ideas for community development in my home town for a future time.
I discovered some remarkable people of the slavery era, who purchased freedom for their entire family before slavery was abolished. Discovering that not all blacks were slaves and not all slaves had to be freed by the Emanicipation Proclamation was quite enlightening.
I can see the depth of the strategies that perpelled the need to dominate during that period of history.
