Mulnix SR Headline: OBITUARIES Publication Date: May 08, 1994 Source: Colorado Springs Gazette Telegraph Page: B13   Region: Colorado Obituary: GERALD LESTER MULNIX SR., 62, formerly of Woodland Park, died May 5, 1994, in Fontana, Calif. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain View United Methodist Church, 1101 Rampart Range Road, Woodland Park. Burial will be at Woodland Park Cemetery. Mountain Memorial Services, 300 W. Lake Ave., Woodland Park, is handling arrangements. Friends may call from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Mr. Mulnix was born Nov. 16, 1931, in Colorado Springs to Lester Leroy Mulnix and Audria Hightower. He is survived by his stepmother, Juanita Mulnix of Colorado Springs; four sons, Gerald Jr. and Marine Sgt. Roger, both of California, James of Colorado Springs and Marine Cpl. Richard of North Carolina; three daughters, Deborah of Denver, Carol Waggener of Kansas and Karen Green of Colorado Springs; three brothers, Dr. John of Fort Collins, Frank of Phoenix and Bob of Colorado Springs; two sisters, Linda Fowlkes of Mesa, Ariz., and Tami Gallogly of Colorado Springs; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Mr. Mulnix served in the Army in the Korean War from 1949 to 1952. He was member of the Moose Lodge in California and had been a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars in Colorado Springs.
