CPT Michael Ramsey
Michael Ramsey was born July 4th, 1981, in the panhandle of New Mexico, to a retired Army Colonel. His mother was a young Texan, his father's second wife, who he had met while she was an administration clerk working at Ft Bliss, in El Paso, TX. They fell in love and got married shortly after he retired. His father had 3 older sons from his first marriage, and learned about fighting at an early age. When he turned 7, his father allowed him to start taking kickboxing lessons. His older brothers soon left him alone after that. He often went hunting and camping with his father, and grew to love the outdoors as well, learning about plants and wildlife. After his father took him on his first big game hunt in Wyoming at the age of 13, he was hooked, and during his spare time hunted every chance he could.
After his graduation from high school, his father secured for him an acceptance to the US Military Academy at West Point. During his four years there, he earned both his Airborne and Air Assualt wings, and received a degree in Computer Electronics upon his graduation in 2003. He attended Ranger school, and upon it's completion was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division as a young 2LT. His father passed away soon after his arrival Ft. Bragg, overshadowing his joy at getting his dream assignment. At Ft. Bragg he attended Pathfinder school, and was soon promoted to 1LT. In January of 2005, he received orders to Ft. Lewis, and was assigned to the 1/24th Inf BN Scout platoon as Platoon leader. He was at the Officer's Club celebrating his birthday when the bombs fell on the Puget Sound. During the next few months, he and the other troops of Ft. Lewis helped out the local population, struggling to rebuild, and maintaining order in the area.
When news of the Soviet invasion reached Washington, 1LT Ramsey was sent north along with the other units from Ft Lewis to stem the tide. The 24th Inf Div was shattered by the Red Army, but bravely struggled to fight a delaying action back to the Washington border. As the retreat continued, 1LT Ramsey and what was left of the Scouts acted as the eyes and ears of what was left of the battalion, suffering huge casualties in the process. They were able to give valuable intelligence to MG Bradley when they linked up with 41st Infantry Brigade, which helped in the stunning victory at Centralia. In recognition for their efforts, MG Bradley decorated the Scouts, now down to a squad, and promoted 1LT Ramsey to Captain.
CPT Ramsey is 1.8m tall, and weighs 96kg. He has blue-black hair, dark eyes, and olive skin, and has a permanent case of 5 o'clock shadow.
