Who is Fido Dido?
If you are from Singapore, you will find him on TV advertisements (7up!)
many years ago.
If you are from the United States, then you may recognize
him from his years on CBS as their "filler" during their Saturday morning
cartoons or his stint on the Slice soda can. Internationally, the character
has enjoyed success in other fields (t-shirts, watches, and more).
Fido Dido is the creation of Susan Rose, a Canadian cartoonist. Her
sense of humor is off-beat, but often hits the mark. In the United States,
the most prevalent of Fido Dido merchandise that you can find is her line of
greeting cards (some of the first to use 100% recycled paper). If you
search long and hard enough, you may be able to find her book
Fido Dido 101 in the humour section of a bookstore.
Fido's Credo:
Fido is for Fido.
Fido is against no one.
Fido is youth.
Fido has no age.
Fido see everything.
Fido judges nothing.
Fido is innocent.
Fido is powerful.
Fido comes from the past.
Fido is the future.
