Greetings From Michael and Robin (Sorry we are still working on this page)

We love children and our careers allow us opportunities to spend time with them. We are both teachers of students with special needs. Michael currently teaches at a high school. Robin teaches at the middle school where our child will attend. We met in 1990 while teaching at the same school. We became friends immediately and soon realized we share a lot of the same interests, values, and goals in life. We fell in love and were married in 1994. We planned to have a family right away and although that has not happened yet, we have faith that it will happen soon. Those who know us tell us we will be great parents.

We live in a western suburb of St. Louis, Missouri.
Picture a friendly, safe, clean neighborhood close to great schools and parks. Children are playing outside, people jog past, and families walking their dogs stop to chat. Our warm, sun filled home was built 2 years ago with children in mind. There is plenty of floor space for toys and games. Upstairs, the nursery is right next to our bedroom. Just down the hall are 2 additional bedrooms for our child to choose from as they grow older. We spend many afternoons in our white fenced backyard playing with our lovable beagle Murphy. We can't wait for a little one toddling around the yard and eventually joing in on games like wiffleball, basketball, or soccer.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading this letter. Our thoughts are with you as you journey down the path to make this totally unselfish and loving choice for your child. We too have had to make difficult decisions as we came to realize that we would not become pregnant even with extensive medical intervention. We firmly believe that when God closes a door he always opens a window. We feel open adoption is our "window" to realizing our dream of becoming parents. We chose open adoption because we want the oportunity to be able to give our child answers to the story of where they came from. We are nervous and excited about meeting you. Until then, we hope this letter will guide you as you consider us in you plan.
