Although the name has not been decided, the sex has. Thanks in part to Dad's hefty male genes, the baby is a boy (see second picture for validation.).
The first picture shows a profile view of the baby. You can almost make out his left arm and hand slightly elevated in front of his chest.
The second picture shows a top view from the head looking down. The left femur bone is the most prevalent feature in this picture. Once identified, you can make out the position- sitting with his legs spread (so we could see he's a "he"). The small triangle between the thigh bones is undeniable proof. (The white blob on the bottom is part of Deanna, not the baby.)
The heart beat was recorded eight weeks into the pregnancy using an old GE microcassette tape recorder. The sound quality is not all that great, but we are thrilled to have it.
