About the Author

Thank you most sincerely for paying a visit to my website. I feel that if I have shared information with someone, and changed only one mind or saved one child then my work is a success. I am a college student in a very beautiful, picturesque surburban valley. My studies include Computer Science, Theology, Psychology, and Spanish. I greatly admire the work of Rachel's Vineyard, founded by an alumna of the college I attend, Theresa Karminski Burke. I enjoy movies and art. My favorite authors are Anne Tyler and Mary Higgins Clark. I love music, and am the type of person that can sing along to just about any radio station you might turn on. I love to travel! I love children, obviously. Thank you to my friends who have supported me in this effort of sharing the truth with the world through the world wide web, and especially to Sr. J. Sheila Galligan I.H.M., without whom none of this would be possible.

On Friday, January 22nd, 1999, I attended the annual March for Life on Washington, D.C. with a group of students and one of the faculty. It was a very eventful, fun day, but most importantly it was fulfilling. It made me feel good inside that I could participate with so many others like me. It seemed there were a million people there! And Sr. Sheila somehow knew most of them. It was wonderful to see so many people, of different races and religions, gather together on one special day to stand up for what is right.

Abortion has been a problem throughout the history of human kind, but the true slap in the face came when the greatest nation of the world said that it was not only legal, but a woman’s right to kill her own flesh and blood, her unborn child. Our country’s motto is “In God we trust,” but maybe today it should be changed to “In the abortionists we trust,” because so many women out there are having them, some only once but many time and time again. These women, besides hurting their child, hurt themselves, and deprive the world of a wonderful, unique human being that can never be replaced.

We joined together in Washington peacefully, and prayerfully. We wanted to show the world that we are not a small minority. There are many like us, and we pray for change. We pray for the people to realize what they are doing and to stop living in this culture of death. And we will continue to do so until no more children die.

We are all gifted....

Some of us just open our presents later than others!
