WELCOME TO HUSHPUPPY41'S YAHOO! CHAT FRIENDS HOME PAGE!!!
Hi, I'm Hushpuppy41. Most of those visiting this page have met me at some time over the past year in Yahoo! Chat. This page is dedicated to all of those wonderful people.
As the regulars in Yahoo! are aware, KingofThieves created and maintained the Pal Page (Rogue's Gallery) for the past several months. Unfortunately, KingofThieves recently announced that he shall no longer be maintaining the Pal Page and like the rest of you, I would hate to see this great page disappear, so here I am, taking it over. He did a fantastic job and it's going to be hard to follow in his footsteps, however, I'll give it my best shot!! Several of you have offered to help me in this endeavour, and I would like to thank each and every one of you who did so. I will, no doubt, need to take some of you up on your offers of assistance in the near future. Once again, Sheba3 has offered to come to my rescue and help me out whenever I get stuck. She may DEFINITELY regret making that offer!!!
Sheba3 is also the very talented lady who created the background and the buttons that you see on this and subsequent pages and is also a very close friend of mine. Sheba, I owe you big time!!! Can't thank you enough for all you've done.
For those visiting who would like a little background on the reason behind this page, I created and maintained a room in Yahoo! Chat for several months under my nickname of Hushpuppy41 where all of the people whose pictures shown on subsequent pages were met and several very special friendships developed. In several cases, a lot of chatters have met one another over the past year, the largest get-together so far being the Yahooian which was held in Niagara Falls, Ontario (Canada) in October, 1997. Cannibalclown who is a regular chatter in Yahoo! created the Yahooian Home Page following the event that shows pictures of those attending. I've been told that a great time was had by all and that a 2nd Reunion is being planned for the Fall of 1998. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend due to other priorities which took precedence at the time. Sure wish I could have been there with them all!!
All of the pictures herein are smaller versions of the original. If you wish to see the full-sized version, please click on the picture and it will open up the full-sized version for you. Please keep in mind that these pages will take time to load due to the size of the pictures being loaded in the background, but I'm sure you will agree it's worth the wait!!!
Before somebody decides to let me know that I don't know my Alphabet...I've given up on putting these in alphabetical order. There are just too many pictures coming in, so I will be inserting the new pictures as closely as possible to their alphabetical order. Really great response from everybody. Thanks to all of you for being so prompt in getting your pictures to me.
All of the people on this page were a part of a very special group of friends who began chatting in Yahoo! Chat at around the same time. Many of them no longer go into Yahoo! Chat due to various changes in their schedules and things that have gone on in their lives over the past year or so. Even though I do not see many of them in Yahoo! anymore, I still see the majority of them online in ICQ on a regular basis. The friendships I've made will always hold a special place in my heart and I will always remember each and every one of them.
The pictures from the original "Pal Page" have not been posted here unless I received confirmation from the concerned individuals that they wanted to have them posted. If you should happen to be talking to any of those that were on the original page, please have them contact me with an updated photo. Once I receive their go-ahead, I shall be only too happy to add their pictures to those already here.
Should you know of anyone who would like to have their picture added to this page, please feel free to have them either e-mail me their scanned picture in .jpg or .gif format to the E-mail address shown below by double-clicking on the icon. You can also send them to me via ICQ where I am registered as Hushpuppy41, UIN # 722900.
I hope you enjoy these pages and please DO let me know you've passed by by signing my Guestbook. I've put it on the last page as well (a great suggestion from a friend)...so NO Excuse!!!....LOL
