To My Humble
On
The Web
So, you really want to meet & get to know the real Blue Velvet??
I'm sorry to say "Blue Velvet" is very camera shy!!!
So her alter ego graciously volunteered to furnish a picture for you.
So without further ado, please let me introduce you to "Debbie"
OK! OK!, I know (a.k.a.)
OK, so the picture is 2 years old, and she has cut her hair since,
but I did warn you she is camera shy.
Anyways, for those of you who have stayed, let me introduce myself.
My real name is Debbie. I live in a small town in Western Massachusetts. I am 42, 5' 4", 115 lbs, despite what the picture shows my eyes are blue or green or brown....they are very temperamental. I am a mother of at least 3 children aged at...18, 16 & 5...the others are 3 & 7....if you think it's confusing for you, think how I feel...I am a foster parent and couldn't tell you from one day to the next who might be living in my home. I find being a foster parent very rewarding....there are so many children in this world who need guidance, support and a loving home...I am glad that I am able to offer this service to the needy children in our area. For more information and insight on being a foster parent, please visit my page on Foster Parenting (Coming Soon).
One of my favorite pastimes is spending time in the Wild West Wing of the Chat House. I enjoy chatting with people and can be found in the Chat House most evenings. I have met some pretty terrific people in the WWW, many of whom I am happy to call my friends. Such a great bunch of people you are....So warm and caring....and always ready to lend a helping hand if needed. So If you have never been to the WWW come on in and check us out...we can be found in the "Glass Slipper"... You can also meet and get to know some of these really great people who have befriended me by visiting my WWW ChatHouse page.
Most people who know me personally call me "A jack of all trades...master of none" and they couldn't be more right. I just love to dabble in all sorts of things... My personal interests are extremely varied. So in the interest of not boring you too much I will try to keep it simple. So if you are really interested you can continue reading or jump to the next paragraph. I love crafts of all kinds, my computer, reading, watching movies, camping - in my trailer...I am a creature of comfort *L*. I love shooting pool, dancing, quite evenings curled up by a fire, walking in the rain, & the ocean. I enjoy tarot card reading, mysticism and the occult fascinate me, as does the martial arts... I love collecting, and am an avid collector of Austrian crystal & figurines, tea cups & saucers, Norman Rockwell items, Thomas Kincaid prints and Hallmark Christmas Ornaments. I am also into herbal remedies, and the natural way of healing... hence the birth of my home based business The Herbal Way. Prior to my accident the sports I enjoyed and truly miss participating in now are: skiing - both downhill & water, bowling, bike riding, playing hoops with my sons, skating - both ice & roller, hiking through our mountain range, and three-wheeling, My two most favorite sports are basketball and baseball, and that's only because I understand them.
Well Look at this
