What is expected of us?

Fear the Lord
-
Stand in awe of Him
-
Keep His commands, decrees and laws.
Why should we obey God?
-
We may enjoy long life (v.2)
-
It may go well with us (v.3)
-
We may increase in number and wealth (v3)
How should we relate to God?
-
We should acknowledge no other god
-
We should love God with our whole selves
What about our children?
-
We must teach them to love God
-
We must be role models for them
-
They must revere and love God themselves
What must we be careful about?
-
We must not forget the Lord
-
We must fear Him and serve Him only
-
We must do what is right and good in the Lord’s sight
Conclusion:

Hear, O Gereja Grace: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD
your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with
all your strength.
