WHO I AM

Well I guess it would be good for me to tell you a bit about myself to start with... well where do I start??? I guess my name and things like that would be good. O.K. My name is Jacinta Ferguson. I am the youngest of 8 children and was born in the small town of Hamilton, Victoria, Australia... I grew up there along with my 5 brothers and 2 sisters... I am now 21 and there is 11 years difference between me and the oldest in my family. I had lived in Hamilton all of my life and it wasn't until 1996 that I had to move away so that I could further my education.

I am currently studying Diploma in Community Services Child Care at Horsham Campus of Ballarat University. Ballarat Uni We are covering a wide range of subjects in the course and even though this is only my first year at it we have already had 2 placements and are all getting ready for the third one which is coming up soon.

Before coming to Horsham to do this course I spent 2 years in Melbourne studying at LaTrobe University, Bundoora. While studying there I stayed at Glenn College which is one of the Three residential colleges at the Uni. I enjoyed the 2 years I spent there and made many friends who I hope to keep for life. I studied Biological Science for a year and a half before deciding it wasn't for me and going to do a Nanny course.



Friends

I have made many wonderful friends while being at Uni, both here in Horsham and also in Melbourne...

O.K. so where do I start... I have so many friends that half the time i can't even remember them. I will divide them up into 3 main groups Melbourne friends, Horsham friends and Internet Friends.

One of my really good friends off the Internet is Adstar� I received an email from him one day when i wasn't feeling so good and in it there was an address for something. You wouldn't tell me what it was. All you said was to go and look at it and you left it at that. That was the day that I found my deamon *G*. You had made her and given her to me... I didn't know what to think at first. I just couldn't believe that you had made this cute little caracter for me... Sharyn well we only really knew each other for one year before I moved out of college. we sure did have some fun times though. It was great to get to meet you and I hope to catch up with you again soon when I come back to college to see everyone *G*

Nicole. you have become a great friend these past 2 years... hey even though we grew up in the same town it took us coming to uni to meet.. I hope you do well in the course and see you around..

Evelyn gee I can never get the spelling in your name right. you will have to mail me so that I can get it rigth o.k.. we met last year in the Ag lecture theater in one of those boring classes that we had to attend. we sure have had some interesting times last year. Hope all goes well and that we catch up again soon.

Anniene. we met last year in Biology class. Sitting up the back row being bored out of our brains. Our friendship over the next couple of months grew and we would always sit together with Chris and Jo and Kate in the middle of the back row in the Ag lecture thearter. Feets on the backs of the seats in front of us and sometimes we would even fall asleep. You will always be a great friend to me... *huggles for my friend*

FRIENDS FROM HORSHAM.

The question is with this lot is where do I start. *G* I might have only been here for 6 months so far but I sure have made lots of friends. Before coming to horsham I only had met one person that I knew from here before... and there was another one that I had talked to a few times but well just never really met her. The person that I had talked to is

Renae *aka* Bards. *G* Well what can I say sis? we had talked in Ozchat for about 2 years before I finally got to met you. I still can't believe how short you are *G* but well I guess no one can believe that since you are an "Ohmpa Loompa". Nae I can say that "Only cause I can" *G* Thankyou for all the help you have given me in the past 6 months and for being a great friend. *huggles*

The person that I had met but only once and even then for only a few hours is Paul *aka* Wakita. now Bro... hmmmm we met last year in melb when you came down there for the day but you didn't really give me much of a chance to see you. You are going to pay for that one of these days.

Neville *aka* Enchante. We met one day in the library computer room at Tafe. I was sitting next to Bards and we were both in Ozchat. Somehow you managed to get hooked on Ozchat also but I still dont' know how that happened *G*. I have gotten to know you fairly well over the past 6 months and especially in the last couple. Thankyou for being my friend when I needed someone to talk to and for just being you.

Dianne. Well it took you coming to Horsham and me coming to horsham to meet also. Thankyou for allowing me the ability to travel home with you some weekends and for being a great friend. You are always someone that I can talk to if there is something going on that I can't sort out for myself. Hope that everything works out for you and that we stay friends.

Natarsha *aka* Tarsh. we met by chance at tafe in the course cause you were a late entry. I then somehow managed to get you hooked on the internet and hooked you have stayed. Hope that everything works out with you in the future and that you are able to do what you wish with your life.

Nerralea *aka* Nez. You are another person that I somehow managed to get hooked on the internet. especially in the past couple of weeks. hope that everything works out for you and that you are able to do with your life what you wish to get out of it.

Naomie *aka* Nomie. You are a great friend that I know I can talk to if anything is worrying me. THankyou for being there for me those times through out this year that I have needed someone to talk to. Hope that we can stay friends after this course finishes and in the future.

Sometimes I wonder how I managed to get you all hooked on the internet.


FRIENDS FROM THE INTERNET.

If it wasn't for my dear friend Esm� I would not have known about the internet. Es introduced me to the Net by the way of Ozchat. It was here that I started out and now continue to frequent. Thankyou Es for bringing the net into my life.

My cyber family... now where do I start??? I have so many Bros and Sisters that it is difficult to decide... O.K. I better start with my mothers... yes Plural... I have 2... One is Lizard off C1's chat and Sooty off Ozchat... LIZ is my first Mummy... I have known her for a while now and she is like a real mother to me. I can talk to her about anything and I love her dearly. I will never forget her cause she has been there for me when ever I have needed her and she knows how to make me laugh too. *huggles and kisses*

And my other Mummie is Winnie off Ozchat. Winnie was actually born in my home town of Hamilton too... so I guess that is why I have her as my mummie.... thanks for everything.... *hugs*

A couple of weeks ago if you had asked me who my cyber dad is I would have told you that I didnt 'have one. But now I can tell you that my Daddy is Brett... even though he is in England we have gotten to know each other really well. We might never relaly get much chance to talk to each other but when we do it is time that is spent catching up on things that have happened since the last time we talked. You have also given me a little girl Caitlinn who You send pics to me every so often so that I can see how much she is growing. Interests and Hobbies

Well one of my main interests is spending time on the internet talking to all my relaly good friends and also I love spending time with my real friends wether it be watching movies, talking, going out together of a weekend having fun or just doing nothing. I love also cooking, reading, watching tv (when there is something good on), doing cross stiches, Seeing my niece & nephews, or even just cuddling my teddy bear *G*
