My honey's at home but he's there all alone

What's he gonna do if he catches the flu? 

He'll cough and he'll splutter but he'll still carry on

He'll tell people "it's nothing" - he sure won't let on

But if I were there too, he'd have the WORST case of flu

He'll be so sick and so sore

He won't even manage to stand on the floor

I'll fix him hot drinks and homemade chicken soup

I'll make less noise than a mouse

But he'll say, "what's all the noise, are we having a party?"

"I need peace and quiet - keep it down for chrissakes!"

Yep, those men of ours sure know how to act

When we're there in the house and they're feeling quite flat

Honey, when will you learn, sure, I past First Aid Theory

But for my bedside manner, see

They said it was real scary

So, I guess that he's lucky I'm still so far away

And that's all that I can honestly say

Next
