FEEDBACK FROM VISITORS

Dear Brother Massimo Franceschini:

I have just finished reading your articles on faith and grace and salvation.
You did an excellent job.  What you say on this subject is absolutely true and
can be backed up not only by the scriptures but in the historical record.  Thank
you for expending the time and money to bear witness of the truths of the
gospel.  The protestants have claimed that once saved, always saved (meaning
that you can never be lost).  I am in the process of publishing a book (my
third, entitled, "He Will not Save Thee in Thy Sins) which makes the point that
this premise is taken from the idea of Augustine (which came from pagan
doctrines) that a sacrament (and by faith are ye saved is a Protestant
sacrament, because it fits all of the criteria) has a seal which can never be
broken.  Thus, the premises of Martin Luther (who was an Augustinian monk) do
not have their basis in the scriptures but are pagan in origin.  As such, it is
easy to understand why they are in direct conflict with the scriptural message
about the atonement of Christ and the transformation which occurs within those
who are born again.  May the Lord bless you for your service in defending his
gospel.

Sincerely,

Ray Smullin

Hi, my name Sharon Dierks. My husband Raymond and I were just Baptized last
week and we are to receive the Holy Spirit tomorrow. I just wanted you to
know that I was surfing the web and came across your site. It is terrific. I
just wanted to say thank you. It really means a whole lot to see such a
comprehensive site, especially to a new convert. Its packed with really great
stuff!

I just wanted to thank you for the information on your site. I am
investigating the LDS and it has been so helpful. The fact that you used so
many Biblical references was especially helpful since I come from
"mainstream" Christianity. So many of the answers I have been finding and
looking for were in your site. You were the answer to my prayers and I am
thankful.

Hey,

I just read your write up on numbers.  That was very interesting.  You
brought up a point that I had never thought of in quite the way you
presented, and which will be very helpful to me in presenting my material.
Now that I think about it, I am very surprised I had not thought of it
before.

God is indeed very mathematical, as he is the creator, and nature is filled
with mathematical wonders.  Why not expect that the word of God would be
that way too!

People tend to be so skeptical of my approach because it deals with numbers.
Why should they be surprised?

Sterling Allan (webmaster of Greater things)

Wow!!!!!
Your site has helped me much in my understanding of the gospel.  I would like
to extend my appreciation towards you and the builders of this website.

Before I really became interested in the gospel, I had only known it to be
good.  With all of the analysis on your website and discoveries now being
made, I have a stonger testimony.  God Bless you for the time and effort made
to bring the world to the gospel.

Thank you. A fellow son of God

I enjoyed the site. I went to the Daniel page expecting to read about the vision of the image and how it relates to the restoration. I was plesantly surprised. I had not heard about that vision and its direct correlation to the martyrdom before. Overall, very good and refreshing. I didn't really get into your main thesis, but I hope to be able to do that in the future. I also would welcome the opportunity to link to your site. Is that o.k.? It is a great start. Thanks.

Russel Anderson .

Hi Massimo,

A GREAT site, and  GREAT start......... I enjoyed it very much....... Nice use of the scriptures.

I have spent the past 45 minutes looking at your sight. It is one of the best I have seen yet. I am new at this online bit, but I am learning to love it. Being lds, I usually try to find sight such as yours. You can be sure I will return again many times.

I think your page is going to be great. I think you'll have a lot of visitors as soon as it gets well known.

It looks wonderourl!!! You did an excellent job. I sent the address to some friends that were wondering about the religion and this I know will help them. I even sent the page to a friend of mine that is a returned missionary. He is always looking for pages on the church.

Lady D.

Massimo, you have done obviously your homework! Your web site is incredibly informative and it is obvious you were working with the Spirit. I am a 7th generation member and I learned a few things, too! I hope many will visit and that their hearts will be softened and they will be inspired to seek the missionaries.

Best of luck and God speed.

Dayna Linton.

Dear Massimo,

I am totally amazed.......I have spent an hour reading and still haven't yet begun. I've started copying to share with our missionaries and my bishop, as they do not have internet service.

John & Sherry Lihue Ward, Kauai, Hi.

Nancy.

Thank you for making such a great page- hopefully I will be able to use it in bringing others to the truth of the Gospel. I will have to take more time now and read the whole thing. By the way, I think you have a really cool name! You don't mind if I add a link to your page from mine, do you?

Darcey Miller.

Your web site looks great and is very appealing. If I may I'd like to put a link on my site to yours. I think you've done a wonderful job of approaching the subject matter and your site will be helpful in helping people understand the church.

Love in Christ Denise and Marty Mc Raney.

Brother Franceschini,

I can tell that many many hours of study, prayer and work went into creating this page entitled "The Bible and the Book of Mormon". I can only imagine the growth of your personal testimony trough your efforts. As I have read your page, and I am not finished, my testimony and conviction as to the truth of the Book of Mormon have benn strengthened. These bits of "circuumstantial evidence" are great testimony builders. I feel that you page will have a great effect on those already having a testimony of the Boo of Mormon, as well it may provide enough of a seed in those whom the Lord has prepared that they may desire to learn more and harken unto the word of God. Thank you so much.

Your's in the Gospel Nicholas B. Flint

You were truly inspired to make such wonderful observations. I feel it was also very important for you to have state that not only do you know the truth by your search of scriptures, but also for you to have included your testimony of prayer. Well done.

Debbie Stewart.

I am amazed each time that I visit your site. You are a sensitive scholar of Christianity and a devout Mormon. You are also most adroit in your computer skills. You maintain one of the most sophisticated web pages that I have ever viewed. Your computer/engineering background would be of interest.
Thanks for enlightening us on subjects that are both challenging and important.
Your brother in the gospel,

This was the letter that Ron Cappelli wrote me when I sent to him my study "The Bible and the Book of Mormon"

I just got home from work and read all your messages. Let me first tell
you that I didn't fall asleep until after 4:30am and I was up at
6:45am
for work, so needless to say, right now I'm extremely tired. But I
wanted to write you a quite note in response to your messages.
I reviewed all your prior messages to me and compared them to the ones
you sent me today. I don't know why, but in the past I got all of them
except the one about the three sheep. Now I have that one too.
As far as your ideas are concerned, you're right, you could write a
book. You have much, much more information to share than what I
paraphrased for you on my web site. In fact, you have so much, that I'm
overwhelmed with it at the moment. Overwhelmed meaning that there is so
much information to absorb, think about, consider, and analyize that
I can't grasp it all at the moment. It's like eating a very large meal
quickly. Soon you become so full that you have to rest and let the food
get digested before it does you any good. My head is swiming with so
much information from you that right now it's all a little confusing
(just when I thought I was starting to understand it) .
. Maybe some of that is because I'm so tired that my
mind isn't thinking clearly, and maybe after I study -- not read, but
study -- your words more carefully, I will understand them better.
Then again, maybe I won't.

As with any new ideas, it takes time for people to fully understand a
different viewpoint. And even when they do, that doesn't always mean
they agree with them. At first glance, there are some things I easily
agree with in your writings, there are some things that sound
reasonable
but I had never thought of and therefore am not sure of.

I live in Richmond, VA, which is two hours ahead of you in time.

Ron Cappelli

As usual you site is simply breathtaking.  Don't ever take this site down.
If you accept donations I would be more than happy to.
Keep up the excelent work!!!!

Hello Massimo,

Thank you so much for introducing Mr. Jim Ellis to me. He has emailed me
on Sunday at around 1 PM (you guys REALLY WORK FAST!), but I only
checked my email in the evening around 9 pm. I telephoned him to have a
chat and said he will arrange a date to meet up with me as soon as
possible.

BTW Massimo, could you tell me more about yourself?
(I hope you don't mind, but I really find your name interesting... what
language is it originated?)

I really look forward to meeting with Mr. Jim Ellis.

Thank you once again!

Vincent.

Bro. Ellis:

Vincent has been taught the 2nd discussion last Saturday. Attended Church meetings on Sunday afternoon. He is progressing fine but still needs time to warm up to large group meetings. The stake missionaries, full-time missionaries and some specific members are assigned to fellowship him.

Regards.

Massimo,

Your story is great. Your testimony is wonderful. The Lord bless us in different ways but always with the same result, we become closer to Christ.

thank you so much for sharing your experiences.

Charles.

Dear Massimo:

When you wrote me some weeks ago I had the impression the Lord's hand was
in it. This morning, after sending the translation to you, I went to your
page and I read your story.

I can't explain in words what I felt. My wife and I have been fighting for
our emigration to the US since three years ago. It has been very hard, and
I had not gotten a sponsor yet. I have been trying to find a job at any
university. I have sent applications to all the universities in Utah, many
in Arizona and Idaho. I have been very close, because last march I had an
interview at some important university in Utah, but we are still here.

My wife and I have felt the calling of the emigration like you felt it, and
many of the acts of your life are alike mine. After reading your story I
felt gratitude and happiness because you. Your words give us more strength
to continue fighting for our goal.

I shared your story with my wife and she was very impressed.

So, thank you very much.

Alejandro.

Massimo,

Your site (http://members.xoom.com/Max_Frankie/) is awesome!  You have
obviously spent a lot of time and effort of this site.  I too have written
some articles - my best entitled "el libro de mormon, el eslabon que falta".
(The Book of Mormon - The Missing Link).  I talk about the promises made in
the Bible (primarily through the patriarcle blessing of Joseph at the hands
of Israel (Jacob) where he has over 39 verses of blessing, as opposed to
Judah's 5 verses and 1-2 verses for every other brother.  Most of these
blessings are not fulfilled in the Bible, but in the BofM.  I also site
other examples of the incompleteness of the Bible as it related to the BofM.
If you would be interested, I could fax it to you (I wrote it on a broke
typewriter during my mission in Madrid).

Keep up the great work and keep fighting against the anti's.  Your faith and
hard work gives inspiration to all who visit your site, Mormon or not.

Best Regards,

Patrick Oborn

I consistantly enjoy your web site. My voice gets hoarse reading above the noise of 9 children while my husband listens. Tonight I read your article concerning Holy Garments and want to thank you for a tasteful handling of a sacred and difficult topic. You might appreciate one observation that I often make to my children as we study about Adam and Eve. God did make the garment of skin to cover Adam and Eve. What else does that mean? It means that death had to occur. This is very important symbolically because we are again reminded that God has the authority over live and death. There is much in this concept as it is explored. My little children are calling so I leave it to you to make all the connections of the Lord providing the first garment and bringing the first death into the world. Lest any should think the Lord is casual in his interest in animals, he gave only 5 instruction to Noah after Noah left the ark. 1. Multiply and replenish the earth. 2. May eat the meat of animals. 3. May not eat blood. 4. May not be cruel to animals and 5. May not spill man's blood. So we know that however the first death was brought about in order to make the clothing of skin it was done with reverence. As Latter-day Saints we are the only Christian religion that I am aware of that teaches as doctrine that animals have spirits and will receive a resurrection.

Hello Massimo, DO NOT, repeat do not remove me from your
message list as I am most interested in your site. I visit it
often. I seen that you had changed to your new url. I have told
every one I email to check your site. GOOD JOB. "you are right
I shouted."

Hi!

I just want to comment on how awesome your site is! As a lover and student of the scriptures, this site is a gold mine!! I love all these "discoveries" that you provide me. I especially love your "theory" of the 3 wise men. I totally believe it and know it totally agrees with the scriptures. The only thing that I question about is that if the 3 wise men came from the new world, how is it that they could have communicated to Herald and others in Palestine? Also, how is it that they could blend in their culture since the culture in the new world is so different? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much for your contribution to the gospel! Keep up the good work!!

Sincerely,
Jeremy Runnells

This one is not from an lds but from a "friend" that i invited to take a look at my study.

The LDS are a filthy false christian cult.

I answer this

I don't agree with your answer, but since you are a christian you should
have more respect and use a better language.

and he was so kind finishing in this very christian way.

You are an accursed scum, laboring to deceive souls into hell.

I have cursed you in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Don't email here again.

I WAS A MEMBER OF THE CHURCH FOR 20 YRS OR SO. I CAME ACROSS SO ANTI-CHURCH
MATERIAL AND IT SHOOK WHAT I THOUGHT WAS MY TESTIMONY TO PIECES. I
EVENTUALLY ASK TO HAVE MY NAME (AND  MY WIFE'S NAME ) FROM THE CHURCH. I
ATTENDED A LOCAL BAPTIST CHURCH AND WAS HAPPY.BUT THRU YEARS OF STUDY AND
SOMETHING I HAD NO PLAN OR REMOTE THOUGHT OF, I HAVE RECEIVED A WITNESS THAT
THE CHURCH IS REALLY THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST. I  REALIZE THAT I NEVER HAD
A TESTIMONY IN MY HEART OF THE CHURCH BUT HAD MY EYE ON THE ORGANIZATION AND
AS THE VERSE STATES "EVER LEARNING BUT NEVER COMMING TO THE TRUTH ". I
ENJOYED MY FIRST VISIT TO YOUR SIGHT AND FELT THE SPIRIT AS I STUDIED ONE OF
YOUR LESSIONS. I TRIED TO SEND YOUR SIGHT TO MY DAUGHTER AT [email protected]
BUT HAD NO LUCK. I PLAN TO RETURN TO THE CHURCH SOON BUT I WANT TO READ THE
BOOK OF MORMON THRU FIRST. THANK YOU  [email protected]

hi, just a quick note to tell you it was refreshing to review your site ... as a Sunday School teacher of 16-17 year olds, and as we are preparing to teach from the BOM, I was checking to see what was available online. Saw a lot of disturbing materials and then your site appeared like a blessing from above, complete with music! Thanks for your wonderful efforts!

Sincerely i don't agree with your page, but you have the right to mantein
your opinion, like i can mantein mine. At the end both of us i am sure will
trust in the Lord. Be happy my friend the life doesen't end with the
mormonism. Massimo
