Dear Employer:

Please consider my application for an Aerospace Systems Engineer, Project Engineer, or Manager position. My resume is attached for your review.

I have worked for the TCOM division of Westinghouse for 21 years with great success, but I would like to move on to something new and challenging. Westinghouse sold TCOM in 1989 to a private investment group, and TCOM has unfortunately changed direction somewhat from its earlier vision and has shrunk significantly in size, thus limiting growth opportunities.

As you can see from the attached resume, I have a Master's degree in Engineering Science with a perfect 4.0 average in the graduate courses. Also, I currently hold a Secret clearance.

I have always been fascinated by engineering and related management. At this stage in my career, with a broad background and abundant experience, I feel that I am well qualified for this position and I look forward to showing my credentials to your group in a personal interview.

Sincerely,

John A. Krausman
