Weekend update (Feb 16-19)

>Some may pick on you for your weekend updates, but I, for one, have come to

Expecting and liking them are different Uncle Ken, but that wouldn't
matter anyway, would it.  Here's my weekend in review!

Not much happened this weekend from my perspective.  It snowed on
Friday but not as mightily as prognosticated.  We drove to Billerica
for our now-annual chinese Valentine's dinner with the Magnusons
(as in Artie's brother).  Didn't know Valentines was a Chinese
celebration?  Fa-ra-ra-ra-raa-ra-ra-raa-raa.  Stupid Bumpis' hound
dogs!

Saturday, I spent puttering around until Dave Bickom came up and we
went to an Ark-ade for some serious pinball (played Addam's Family,
Twilight Zone, and {blush} Bay Watch (I lost because I had to avert
my eyes too often).  The pinball escapades were a ruse to occupy David
who was having a surprise birthday party hosted at our house by his
wife and her family.  I barbied some teriyaki chicken, some chinese
pork, and bbq chiq legs.

Sunday was Sunday with a good Nazarene Nap in the middle - a great hero
sandwich for my tastes!

I had off on Monday, to putter some more, worked up two more articles
for the Herald (second draft stage), a few pages on my User's Guide
for work and 143 lines of Tetris.  The Magnuson's came up for some
tubbing and cards in the evening.

The week ahead is filling up.  Cards tonight with our favorite ladies:
Lunn and 'Bow.  Thursday with... oh man!  I forgot!  I hope Joy
remembers.  Oh yeah, the Crittendons - who will be moving to San Diego
in 6 weeks or so.  We leave Friday's open until the last mintue and I
have a couple in mind that I hope I can get over.  It's been a while
and they need some distraction.

Soon, I'll have to take Miranda out for her first driving lessons.
I'm working on courage for this.
