Weekend Update: March 1,2,3

Joy is resting as she should.  When she's gotten up to walk to
the WC, she does a pretty good imitation of Artie Johnson's
old man character on Laugh-in.  On Wednesday, we go back
for a check up and to find out what results, if any are
garnered from the scrapings they took from her uterus while
they poked around on her inside.  A few people have been a little
put out that Joy wasn't sent for an Ultrasound when she was
in for a check up on her uterus just a couple of months ago.
It may have uncovered these cysts and something done then.
Not to mention not screwing up out flight plans.  I'll be
gone for 12 days (twice as long as before) but our plans were
to be together for 8 of those days.  I won't be back until
Spring!

I discovered that United Airlines just updated their policy for
medical emergencies on Feb. 29 (the day of my wife's emergency)
and they will not refund the money for the ticket.  Instead,
they'll apply it to another time, less $50.  I may be able to
get back most of my money because people from here fly often
to San Francisco.  I'll see what fenagling I can do.

Faith Community of Windham NH sent flowers.  Fortunately for me,
I bought flowers before the others arrived or I might have a hard
time proving that I had an original idea.

Lowell First Church is bringing in meals for the week.  And there
goes my reduced calorie diet; like I was on one.  On Saturday night,
one of our family friends bought chinese food (!) for us. Poor Joy
sat on the couch while the rest of us ate heartily.  (She had some
too.)

She is walking around a bit better now (than Artie Johnson) but she
is NOT to do anything; no bending, no lifting, no pushing, no
laundry, no dishes, no cooking, no NOTHING!  At least until
Wednesday when they see her again.  Believe you me, our household
wants her to get back to normal as quickly as possible so we're
obeying Doctor's orders.  I'm just hoping she won't be giving us
as much trouble as our car: in and out of the repair shop.  We
want it fixed and fixed right!

Keep us in your prayers.  We're cooperating now, but school's
back in session and extra pressures will be coming to bear this
week.  Thank you for your support and love.
