Shorn for sure

I know some of you on these lists have been waiting for news that
I finally made it to the salon to be shorn of my lengthy tresses.
Well, it's true.  Yesterday I had the stylist lop off 5 or 6 inches
of locks off the back, bringing my hair back to my collar.  In fact.
I had two hair cuts yesterday because at the first hair cut, Joy
determined the length and the stylist dutifully cut it and then
cut it up again until Joy said it was the right length.  Well,
I got home and my children are looking at me oddly.  The back was
cut straight across but the hair was one length.  I called the
stylist and went back to get it layered.  I'm a bit happier about
it although the rest of you will have to suffer with seeing a
whole lot more face.

It really is too bad that this year our Christmas play didn't call
for long and bearded.  It'll probably never be that long again.
