Mon Dec 2 08:35 EST 1996 Thanksgiving memoires The In-Laws have come and gone. The leftover turkey is just about finished too. I figure a couple of cassaroles ought to finish the bird. Only dark meat is left. I came down with a cold Friday morning just after the last In-Law skeedaddled. I spent the next two days sleeping off as much of the cold as I could. That, and upgrading my sister-in-law's computer for her. I must have been awake on Sunday, too, because I remember my eyes being open and seeing people. Oh, and we have four extra girls sleeping over for the weekend, too. The kids had lots of fun, so I am told. Jessica is facing some trauma today. She has a large birthmark on her back and it is time in her life to have it removed so it doesn't cause trouble later in life. Poor kid. This isn't going to be a fun day. By the way, it's rainy today; real rainy. I drove to work listening to the rain tapdance on my car roof and windshield. When I parked the car, I reclined the seat and took a short nap before entering the building for work. I'd still be out there if I had my druthers.
