This is the day of decision

Joe, the mortgage officer, called last night.  He has sent all the
paperwork to the underwriter of the Chase bank.  He told me that he
doesn't have a good feeling about it - but he has seen tougher loans
get approved.  Still, I'm bracing for the worst (not well, I can tell
you) and hoping for the best.  The answer should come today or tomorrow.

I don't know what the Lord will do; I've asked for a "yes."
