Joy had her check-up: Good news!

We are very happy (elated, in fact) to report that Joy received a
clean bill of health at her check up after a long year of battling
irrascible ovaries. (It was one year ago at the end of February that
Joy had emergency surgery.) Her uterus has returned to normal size
and the ovaries appear to be behaving themselves.  The doctor did
say that nature always has the upper hand and the last word on
what happens in the future (which I take to mean that once you
have a condition, your chances are greater for recurrence than
if you never had the condition).  But at present, things inside
my wife are normal, Normal, NORMAL!  We're glad for today and
have bright hope for tomorrow.

Thank you for your effective prayers and concerns throughout
this past year.  We are glad to put this chapter behind us.
