Subject: Weekend Update: Christmas Vacation Date: Mon 1/4/99 8:58am I have returned from my two week vacation where I admit to feeling a bit lazy for not a few of the days. Why is it that house chores and maintenance gets done when the schedule is full rather than when there is nothing else to do? I should feel grateful for the nine and ten hour sleep-filled nights and relative inactivity of many of my days, and to some extent, I do. But I am raring to go and get on with the tasks at hand here at work and oddly enough for some projects on the homestead. The snail mail friends received our annual Christmas letter which you can read at the following URL: http://www.fortunecity.com/millenium/tulip/309/wu981225.txt If you've kept up with this weekly verbal family photo album, there isn't any news in it for you. I'll simply summarize the many events over the past couple of weeks: the Children's musical that Joy directed was very well received. We hosted 76 people at the Christmas party on the 23rd. My entire family got together in one place on the day after Christmas. (!) We rang in the new year with a cozy set of friends and family. Emily was baptized yesterday. Lots of love and a happy new year to you all! Mark
