Notes: Apparently Elsie married
Isaac Perry after the death of his first wife, Elsie's sister Maria. Maria
and Isaac had at least four children, three of whom were considered infants
at the time of Jacob's will for they are identified as such when listed
as heirs and next of kin in his will. It appears that Elsie raised Maria's
children because Maria was deceased and Elsie was married to Isaac at the
time of Jacob's will. Jacob's will was found in the Surrogates office,
Catskill NY - File 454 - #10137, dated 3/18/1846.

Notes: There is a grave in the West

that the baby was either the child of this Emma or of her Aunt Emma L,

no other known children. At the time of her death, her nephew William F.
Van Woert (still living) was her only heir and next of kin.

all of the information on the cards matches that of Folkert - his age,
place of birth, first wife's name and age, and maiden name of Folkert's
second wife.(Mary Cheyne) Tioga County deeds (book:page): 40:317; 44:207;

of the Candor Town Clerk. Lena May Thornton was the daughter of Eli and

Frank L. Van Woert
Father: unknown - still working
on this
Mother: unknown
Spouse: Mary E.
Marriage: unknown
Notes: Dr. Van Woert states that
Frank L. is probably the child of William Lewis Van Woert. I know that
this cannot be correct because I know the date of William's birth and the
names of all of his children. Therefore, it is uncertain at this time who
the parents are. One thing is fairly sure - that he is either a descendant
of Jacob and Neeltje Quackenbush through one of their sons (Harmon, Lewis,
and Folkert) or of Jacob's brother Peter, because only these families settled
in the Candor, Spencer, Tioga Co. area.
