This is a pen and ink sketch of one of the windows in the second Dutch reformed Church which was built of timber and boards in the year 1656. It was located at the intersection of what is now State and Broadway, Albany, NY. Inside was a bell and an oaken pulpit imported from Holland. The windows contained the coat of arms of several families, Van Rensselaers, Wendells, and Van Woert (Rutger Jacobsen), who were active in the church and community. (Dr. Irving Van Woert)
