![]() As you can see here, the snow burried all of our planters, gardens,
and even the fire hydrant. Notice too that it's still snowing! We
had about 15 hours of straight snow from Monday night untill Tuesday afternoon.
The airport rang in with the official total of 20.3 inches! I took
a yard stick out several places around our backyard, and we averaged 15.5
inches, not including drifts.
Here's connie enjoying a hot beverage on our deck. You can clearly
see the accumulation on top of the table.
Abigail's not quite sure what to make of the snow. She took one
step outside, sank down to the shoulder, and promptly ran back inside.
Here's one of the snowmen we built during the winter weather.
This one is actually from an earlier snow the previous week. With
Connie are her helpers: Melissa, David, Brandon, and Lindsy.
Here I am with the neighborhood kids as we start making some snow angels. We all got to enjoy our snow day off from work/school. Unfortunately, I had to go back to work the next day. The kids had a full week and a half of cancelled school.
