Upson County} In the name of God. Amen.
I Mildridge Harper of the County & State aforesaid, being in a low
state of health, but of sound mind & knowing the uncertainty of life,
and the certainty of death do make this my last will and testament.
Item the 1st I give my soul to God who gave it & my body to its Mother
dust.
Item 2nd I give all of my stock, household & kitchen furniture to my
beloved husband Sherrard Harper.
Item 3rd I wish my land to be sold & after paying my burial expenses
and all of my just debts, I give the balance of the money the land
brings to my brother John Caraway, or he can pay my debts & burial
expenses & take the land as he may choose.
In witnefs whereof I hereunto set my hand & affix my seal this the 20th
February day 1851.

The ‘within’ will of Mildredge Harper late of said County deceased
having been duly proven at this regular term in open court, upon the
oaths of James Garrett & Carter Adams two of the subscribing witnefses
thereto-
It is therefore ordered by the Court that the same be admitted to
record, and be taken & held as the true last will & testament of the
said Mildredge Harper deceased.
