George Albert Turley was born on 29 November 1878 in St. Joseph,
Yavapai, Arizona. Died on 26 February 1908 in Colonia Juarez, Chihauhau,
Mexico. Was the son of Isaac and Sarah (Greenwood) Turley. Grandson of
Theodore and Francis Amelia (Kimberley) Turley, who were Early Mormon Pioneers.
Ida Belle Farnsworth was born on 25 September 1880 in Tuba
City, Yavapai, Arizona. She died on 16 September 1977 in Farmington, San
Juan, New Mexico. She was the daughter of Alonzo Lafayette Farnsworth and
Ida Edith Henrietta Tietjen, who were also Early Mormon Pioneers.
George and Ida were married on 16 February 1899 in Colonia
Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico.
George and Ida had
two daughters:
Ren and Mae Peterson
The first was Ida Mae. She was born in 1900. In 1917,
She married a man named Lorenzo Peterson (Born in 1896).
They had 12 kids.
Their names are: Loren, Max, Verleen, Louise, Jay, Eda,
Barbara, Betty, George, Peggy, Delois, and Doris.
Most of thos kids are still living...
Thelma Turley Hassell and Lyman Snow Hassell
Thelma Turley was born on May 26th, 1908.
She married Lyman Snow Hassell "Jack",
in Colonia Garcia Mexico, when she was 19 yrs old.
They had 9 Children.
She died on July 15th, 1976 in the Kane County Hospital
in Kanab, Utah.
She is buried in Fredonia, Arizona where her and Jack had
lived for
the last 25 yrs of her life. She was working at a sewing
factory in Kanab,
called Barco, when she died at age 68
