"May 6, 1690. The Indiams havd killed Goodman Frost and James Littlefield,
and carried away Nathaniel Frost and burnt several houses here in Wells. I
would have our son John hire a boat and bring you from Saco and some of our
things, If he possibly can. I fear it is not safe to come by land. John, be as
careful as you can of your mother, for it is very dangerous times. The Lord
only knows whether we shall ever see one another any more.

1653. Lists 21, 243ab, 244a, 252. his 100 a at Winter Har. bot from Mr. Jos.
Bolles 12 Oct 1659, and 100 a. from Mrs. Mackworth, form. Saml. Andrews, were
confirmed to his son by Maj. Phillips 8 Oct 1667; adm to only kn. ch. Roger:
Bondsman 3 Sept 1667 Mr. Thos. Williams, Rich. Hitchcock.
