Charles Cosby was induced to settle in Virginia through his connection with the Zouches and he emigrated to York County, Va. (in that portion which afterwards became Warwick County) in 1628, with his infant son, John Cosby. Charles Cosby came to Virginia with step-father, Sir Thomas Zouche, and son, John.
