The wedding ceremony will take place in the afternoon in Kiwanis Park, Oliver, on August 5. It will have a rennaisance theme, so I suggest tunics for the gents, and dresses for the ladies. The ceremony will be conducted by Pat VanBrunt (my mom! ) through the authority of the province of British Columbia and the Temple of The Lady. The ceremony itself will include both an exchange of rings and a handfasting. To top off the ceremony, there will be a maypole dance, and a short break before retiring to the Elks hall for the feast.

Most of the bridesmaids and groomsmen have been chosen. Candy Cain will be a Bridesmaid and Joy Kuntz will be the maid of honor. The groomsmen are Mike Nakonechny & Mark Piel, and the best man is Tom Settle. Danielles youngest brother, Garion, might be the ring bearer, Gord and Mary's daughter Cloey will be the flower girl, and Sheldon Martin has volunteered to take the role of Jester just to round out the theme a little.

Costumes for the wedding party have already been planned, and are being made as you read this.

Some events that we are still trying to work out include: a TV camera from Cable 18, a roast boar, and Pink Floyd playing a private concert.
