Year Chart
Here is a chart of the singles of the year, based on how well they have charted. It vaguely resembles the singles chart but doesn't exactly reflect it. I have used the excel formula =IF(a>0,(((76-a)/100+EXP((-a)/2))*b),0) where a is the chart position and b is the number 1 in the middle week of the year and increases by 0.005 per week as the year progresses to allow both the Christmas rush and the new year lull to be taken into account. Here are all of the singles correct as of 20th February 2001. This may not be updated weekly but should hopefully be updated monthly
