I/We are a multiple system. Few mental health professionals believe in multiplicity and even fewer understand it. This creates major hardships for persons who try to obtain help and proper medical/psychiatric care. I know it exists and is very different from what the media portrays it to be. It is not the end of the world if you have a disability, hidden or otherwise. I have raised two fine sons, completed a college degree and obtained a masters on top of it. You can succeed. Some internal households are more organized than others which helps some systems go further than others. However, all systems can and do basically work together for the good of the whole. Some accomplish this more easily than others and can do more on the outside but if you do not try then you will never know. OK. Enough of my soap box here. (smiles). | |||||||||||||||||||
