Have you ever wanted to specify the subject of  the email sent to you from your website? There is a very simple way to do this with the mailto command.

<a href="mailto:[email protected]?Subject=Visited your CS Designs">Email Chris</a>
The HTML code will display the following on your page. Email Chris

This is similar to any hyper link except that when some one clicks it instead of taking you to another page, it will open up a new message in your default Email program and place the email address after the mailto as the recipient. It will also place anything after the ?Subject=  as the subject heading. This can be quite handy if you have different sections of your site and want to know what section the mail is being sent from. You can replace the Email Chris with your own choice of link to be displayed. This could be quite handy if you want

There are alternatives to listing your actual email address, and one such method is my Reflection Email Page.  Even with a page such as this you can still stipulate the subject heading of your mail, by adding the ?Subject=
