How to redirect to another page or site automatically.

There are times when you might want to redirect someone to another page or site automatically. This is especially handy if you have to change servers and want to redirect your visitors to your new site, with as little inconvienence as possible.

This can be easily done with something as simple as using one of the many Meta Tags.

Example:
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="1; URL=The web address or page you want to redirect to">
Please note that the URL should be the full url of the page or site including the http://www etc.

The above tag, refreshes the current page with the one listed after the URL=
You should also remember that all the Meta tags go between the opening <head> and the closing </head>

The number after the content= is the number of seconds before someone will be redirected. A number of 0 will cause the redirect to happen almost immediately, while a larger number such as 10 will cause a longer delay and perhaps give someone a chance to read any message you might want them to read before being redirected.  That's all there is to it. :)
