Many years ago, just at the beginning of my conversion, I met Peter Christensen, a very good missionary.

He was in mission at the same time with elder woodward and while I was baptized he and elder Woodward was opening the city of Venice to the Gospel. He was district leader in my city (Prato) for several months and it was the golden age for my city, speaking in missionaries' terms. When he finished his mission he came back in USA with elder Woodward and in the airport when they landed he felt so bad. Few days later he went to the doctor and after several exams discovered to be leukemic.

He knew that probably had very few time to live. He had a fiancee, unfortunately I don't know her name, he told her his problem, they were fiancee before of his mission from several years. She wished to be married with him right the way to give him offspring. I didn't know much about this, I was in Italy and I heard something about his sickness, but probably was just a rumor I thought> Instead after a while I received a letter from his wife in which a picture was included of the boy born to her  from him. Her words were so sweet and tender that I couldn't help but cry. She wrote me that Peter died few days before and he asked her to send me a picture to see his child. I felt so terrible for many reason, first of all his death, second the sorrow for the widow, How much she loved him to get marry in his conditions having a child with the sure knowledge to be a widow with a child without support? and third I  suddenly realized how friendly he was to me, he was remember me  while he was dying and asked to his wife to write a letter of friendship and appreciation of the time we had spent togheter. I was down all day long. Now I am in USA, I don't know the name of her,  I don't know where she was living and where she is living now. Probably the boy is a man now.

My wish would be if somebody knew him and his story could help me to find her address and phone number trying to know each other and finally to meet this man that his father wanted for me to have a picture. I believe in miracles so I am confident that I will find this woman and this Christenses.
